Description

Design and implement scalable data integration, transformation, and storage solutions across Azure and on-premise platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize real-time and near-real-time data integration solutions for scale and performance.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data objects and relationships.
• Profile and analyze large datasets to identify trends and remediation plans.
• Develop high-quality code using Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
• Coach junior team members and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data architecture, and data integration.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Java (8+), Spring Boot, JPA, JDBC Template, and Ehcache.
• Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Experience with J2EE, Hibernate, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and JSON/XML frameworks.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Deep understanding of Spring Data (JDBC, ORM, JMS), Security, and Integration.
• Knowledge of Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP), HTTP, RESTful web services, and Linux.
• Mandatory experience with insurance products and the insurance industry.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Active Azure DP-203 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) or equivalent Azure DP certifications.
