Description

You will lead the engineering effort for critical data integration systems, designing scalable pipelines and ensuring data integrity across financial platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for market, reference, and transactional data.
• Develop ETL processes to ingest data from trading platforms, market data providers, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with trading desks, risk teams, and compliance to define and meet data requirements.
• Ensure data integrity, lineage, and governance across all integrated systems.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for both real-time and batch processing workloads.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably within financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Expertise in data modelling and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data orchestration and streaming tools such as Kafka, Spark, or Airflow.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data governance frameworks.
• Experience handling capital markets data, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
