Description

Lead the architectural design and implementation of embedded software products in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full development lifecycle from concept and requirement gathering to design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Architect hardware-layered software systems, including software modules, HAL, and OS interactions.
• Perform deep-dive technical analysis to identify and resolve root causes for memory, speed, and crash issues.
• Drive project targets regarding quality, scope, and cost while managing technical risks.
• Implement formal design patterns and integrate DevOps practices into the development workflow.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience designing, implementing, and testing products, preferably in embedded systems.
• Expertise in C++ within a Windows environment.
• Strong understanding of hardware-layered software architecture and module interactions.
• Proficiency with Windows debugging tools.
• Experience using Azure and GitHub.
• Ability to manage architectural constraints including modularity, optimization, and memory management.
• Experience with Agile software development, specifically SAFe.
• B.E/B.Tech/M-Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RTOS.
