Description

You will support and maintain data lake environments, big data solutions, and RDBMS clusters.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Debug and resolve complex issues within Java-based applications and data pipelines.
• Analyze system patterns and perform root cause analysis to propose technical solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot RDBMS environments and cluster computing systems.
• Communicate technical and functional details of production problems to drive resolution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java coding and debugging.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java, C, or C++).
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS environments (Sybase ASE/IQ, DB2).
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or HDFS.
• Strong problem-solving skills including pattern observation and root cause analysis.
• Ability to work with any graduate degree level.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience in Shell, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• Additional proficiency in SQL scripting.
