Description

You will develop and maintain data lineage solutions across core financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Uplift Fixed Income Cash & FX systems to capture data flows in the firmwide catalog.
• Annotate system code to define and document risk-related data sets.
• Modify build systems to publish data sets and updates accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with SMEs to document data lineage across systems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years developing and supporting large production systems.
• Proficiency in Perl, Java, and SQL.
• Experience with Linux, Autosys, Shell Scripts, JSON, and YAML.
• Strong aptitude for understanding complex data models and schemas.
• Ability to quickly learn large codebases in multiple languages to trace data flows.
• Knowledge of build pipeline systems.
• Financial domain knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with C++.
• Knowledge of messaging/streaming systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Prior experience in financial services.
