Description

Lead data ingestion projects and manage complex Azure data warehousing architectures while overseeing production support, team management, and CI/CD processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of production support (L1/L2/L3), including transitions from incumbents and operational reporting.
• Lead enhancement and forward development tasks within the production support lifecycle.
• Direct team management using onshore/offshore models and manage sprints within an Agile framework.
• Drive automation and performance improvements while managing client applications.
• Oversee release management and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in Python scripting, Spark SQL, and PySpark.
• Strong SQL Server development and SQL database management skills.
• Hands-on experience with ADLS, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Storage services.
• Deep understanding of ETL processing, dimensional modelling, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Azure Automation and PowerShell scripting.
• Proven track record in Production Support Management.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Certified Data Engineering Professional.
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, NoSQL, and document databases.
• Knowledge of microservices, API development, Azure Functions, and Redis Cache.
