What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute legacy to modern database migrations (Sybase → PostgreSQL)
• Develop migration and validation scripts using Python
• Design and optimize logical and physical data models
• Perform SQL fine‑tuning and performance optimization during migration
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation post-migration
• Support reporting and BI integrations post database modernization
• Collaborate with delivery, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth cutovers
• Drive adherence to best practices, timelines, and quality metrics

• Strong experience in data migration and data modeling
• Hands‑on expertise in Sybase to PostgreSQL migration
• Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills
• Solid programming experience with Python for data workloads
