Description

Manage the transition of data from an Oracle-based warehouse to Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support the full migration lifecycle from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Update and optimize SQL scripts and queries for Snowflake architecture.
• Refactor or rebuild existing SSIS packages and SQL Server jobs.
• Assist with the update and reconfiguration of automation jobs.
• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues related to data transformation and workflow automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data migration or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in both Oracle and Snowflake environments.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python and/or Java.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and troubleshoot migration issues.
• Strong documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in large-scale data warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools or workflow orchestration platforms.
• Experience with telecom or billing systems.
