Description

You will manage the end-to-end execution of data migration projects across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop migration plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Analyze data structures and dependencies from NAS shared drives, Box, SharePoint, SQL Server, and SaaS applications.
  • Execute migrations between on-premises systems and cloud databases, as well as SaaS to SaaS transfers.
  • Validate migrated data for accuracy and consistency while resolving technical issues during the process.
  • Document migration procedures, configurations, and results for stakeholder reporting.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in data migration.
  • Hands-on experience with NAS shared drives (Nasuni, PureStorage, or PowerMax).
  • Proficiency with SharePoint, Box, and SQL Server.
  • Experience performing SaaS to SaaS and on-premises to cloud migrations.
  • Experience with ETL tools and database management systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Python or PowerShell for automation.
