Description

You will lead end-to-end data migration projects from planning through post-migration validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration lifecycles including planning, mapping, extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
• Design strategies to move large volumes of structured and unstructured data across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue or similar technologies to automate migration processes.
• Implement data masking, anonymization, and encryption to ensure security and GDPR compliance.
• Create detailed documentation for migration plans, mapping rules, and validation reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data migration and ETL processes.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud for cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises migrations.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and BI tools such as PowerBI and QlikSense.
• Strong experience with database management systems including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data governance.
• Knowledge of data lineage, auditing principles, and data protection regulations.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to optimize performance through efficient transformation, filtering, and mapping techniques.
• Technical troubleshooting skills to ensure minimal downtime during migration.
