You will plan, execute, and manage data migration between systems to ensure integrity and accuracy during technology upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing data structures, formats, and quality to determine migration requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Define data mapping strategies and execute transformation processes to cleanse, convert, and validate data.
• Develop comprehensive migration plans including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Conduct thorough post-migration verification and validation to ensure data completeness and accuracy in the target system.
• Maintain detailed documentation of mapping rules, transformation steps, and issue resolutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in data migration, data analysis, or database management.
• Proficiency in data mapping and transformation tools and technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying mapping requirements and resolving data discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting progress and resolution strategies to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
