Description

You will own the end-to-end data migration process from legacy systems to cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define, collate, and document data migration requirements with subject matter experts.
• Develop mechanisms to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, load, and validate data.
• Analyze data structures, map fields, and ensure data integrity validation.
• Create procedures to facilitate data movement to destination storage.
• Validate processed data against business requirements to confirm fitness for purpose.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10+ years of overall technical experience.
• Strong experience in data migration from legacy systems to cloud.
• Proficiency in procedural SQL (PL/SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data loading tools such as SQL Loader.
• Familiarity with document databases and products (DynamoDB, S3).
• Proficiency in T-SQL.
• Ability to create migration strategies and scripts independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using software development tools like Toad and Golden.
