Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data migration from Pentaho to Informatica CDI.
• Validate end-to-end data flows including source-to-target mappings, transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
• Ensure migrated Informatica CDI jobs deliver functional equivalence or improvement over existing Pentaho workflows.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries to validate row counts, aggregations, joins, filters, and transformations.
• Perform data reconciliation between legacy Pentaho outputs and Informatica CDI target tables.
• Identify, analyze, and document data discrepancies and root causes for resolution.
• Test Informatica CDI mappings, taskflows, schedules, and dependencies to ensure proper functionality.
• Validate exception handling, error logging, and restartability of pipelines for robust operations.
• Ensure performance and scalability meet or exceed legacy standards through comprehensive testing.
• Log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, DBAs, and business stakeholders for project success.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain test artifacts including test cases, test results, data validation reports, and sign-off documents.
• Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project leadership for transparency
