Description

You will own end-to-end testing for migrating data workflows from Pentaho Data Integration to Informatica CDI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for the migration from Pentaho to Informatica CDI.
• Validate end-to-end data flows, including source-to-target mappings, transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries to verify row counts, joins, filters, and transformation logic.
• Perform data reconciliation between legacy Pentaho outputs and Informatica CDI target tables to ensure functional equivalence.
• Log, track, and retest defects using Jira or Azure DevOps, providing clear feedback to development teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, data validation, and test planning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex query development and data verification.
• Hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration and Informatica CDI.
• Proven track record in data migration projects and data reconciliation.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with ETL developers, data engineers, and DBAs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing data warehouse solutions, including performance, scalability, and exception handling validation.
• Familiarity with pipeline restartability testing and error logging mechanisms.
