Description

You will apply data mining, statistical, and machine learning techniques to large, complex datasets to uncover actionable business insights, primarily within the BFSI domain.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and semi-structured datasets to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
• Build, validate, and operationalize predictive models using clustering, classification, and anomaly detection.
• Perform data preparation, cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to ensure high data quality.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate analytical insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineering and science teams to translate business problems into technical use cases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data mining and statistical analysis on large datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Deep knowledge of ML algorithms including decision trees, random forest, regression, and clustering.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to work with large datasets in enterprise environments while ensuring governance and compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP) and AI-driven analytics.
