Description

Design databases and manage complex data structures to support reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage data stored in SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle environments.
• Manipulate large datasets using statistical software or analytical methods.
• Develop front-end reporting solutions including drill-down, summary, and crosstab reports.
• Implement dynamic grouping, sorting, and on-demand sub-reports.
• Apply database fundamentals including snowflake schema and normalized/denormalized data structures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience writing SQL and accessing relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle databases.
• Strong grasp of database fundamentals such as snowflake schema and normalization.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, formatting, and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with dynamic grouping, sorting, and complex reporting structures.
• Ability to manage and interface with complex databases and operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies.
• Experience with Databricks.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, MIS, IST, IT, or a related field.
