Description

Design and maintain enterprise data models for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned to BI consumption patterns.
• Develop dimensional, relational, and hybrid models (star, snowflake, data vault).
• Optimize data models for Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineering to implement models in Azure Databricks (Spark) and validate source-to-target mappings.
• Support AI/ML and GenAI data readiness, including lineage, traceability, and asset reuse.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or analytics engineering.
• Strong expertise in data model design (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Proficient in SQL for building and validating data models and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling and performance optimization.
• Cloud data architecture experience on Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and analytics workloads.

Preferred Skills

• Data governance experience, including metadata and lineage standards.
• Python familiarity for data modeling and validation workflows.
