Role Overview:

The Data Modeler will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database structures and data models. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure optimal database performance, while also providing support during testing and mentoring junior resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering and Design Documentation
• Development and Unit Testing
• Provide required support during the Testing (SIT & UAT) including troubleshooting, Implementation, and warranty period
• Attending Internal and Client meetings
• Mentor Junior resources

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture computer systems, including SQL
• Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data models
• Familiarity with data modelling software such as Microsoft Visio, or Erwin Data
• Experience in designing and implementing database structures
• Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Knowledge of industry best practices for data modelling and database design
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirements
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
