Description

You will design enterprise data architecture, establish governance, and enforce best practices across the data landscape. You will own the release pipeline for data models, ensuring a single version of truth for cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Design ER, Logical, Physical, and Conceptual data models for the enterprise.
• Facilitate data modeling sessions with Business, IT, BI, and SME partners to assess requirements and deliver design prototypes.
• Develop source-to-target and process mappings through reverse and forward engineering analysis.
• Build and maintain an evergreen Data Catalogue with metadata and end-to-end lineage.
• Drive reuse of data assets and enforce modeling standards.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience designing data assets for Operational Data Stores and near real-time Data Warehouses.
• Expertise in Kimball and Inmon data modeling practices.
• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Data Modeling tools such as Erwin.
• Expert SQL development and performance tuning in MongoDB and Oracle.
• Expert hands-on development and performance tuning in Snowflake, including pipelines and stored procedures.
• Strong scripting experience in Python for alerting, monitoring, and data ingestion automation.
• 10+ years of data analysis and profiling experience in financial services (account, card, payment, digital processing).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern data design methodologies: DDD, Microservices Based Architecture, Bounded Contexts, and Data Mesh.
• Proficiency in event streaming and event-based design methodologies.
