Description

You will own the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models, translating complex business requirements into efficient data structures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into precise data models under minimal supervision.
• Partner with development teams to ensure optimal data design and efficient data usage.
• Plan, organize, and implement multiple complex data and information design tasks.
• Devise and maintain standards and processes to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments.
• Lead and influence teams to execute the enterprise data modeling point-of-view.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of work experience in database design.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Modeler using Erwin.
• Expert-level proficiency in Erwin data modeling tools.
• Thorough mastery of logical and physical data modeling techniques.
• Hands-on SQL DB technology knowledge across multiple platforms.
• Experience with MapReduce programming models.
• Knowledge of emerging No-SQL and Azure Cloud DB approaches.

Preferred Skills

• Strong background in Insurance domain and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Ability to develop deep subject matter expertise in specific data models (e.g., Leg mod/Call center).
