Description

You will design, implement, and maintain logical and physical data models supporting enterprise data architecture and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across various platforms.
• Use Erwin Data Modeler to document data models, metadata, and relationships.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and BAs to translate business needs into structured data models.
• Review and optimize existing data models for performance and consistency.
• Generate DDL scripts and support schema deployment alongside DBAs and development teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data modeling, including Erwin Data Modeler usage.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing/reverse-engineering database schemas.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS.
• Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise data architecture and metadata management.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud data platforms like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or GCP BigQuery.
• Understanding of NoSQL data models.
