Description

You will design and implement data strategies across relational, dimensional, and analytic platforms, owning the end-to-end modeling lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models in collaboration with business and application teams.
• Execute hands-on modeling and mapping between source system models and data warehouse models.
• Define and govern enterprise data modeling standards, tools, and best practices.
• Implement data requirements across reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning tools.
• Identify and articulate modeling or mapping challenges to mitigate project delivery risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total IT experience with 8+ years specifically in metadata management and data modeling.
• Proficiency with modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS, dimensional data platforms, ETL, and data ingestion.
• Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center environments.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Proven experience in metadata management and data modeling.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical briefings.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data modeling for NoSQL objects.
• Client-facing experience including technical demonstrations.
