Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures to support business intelligence and analytical requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build conceptual and logical data models using star schemas, snowflake schemas, and highly normalized structures.
• Develop optimized database designs by tuning views and tables to ensure efficient query performance and response times.
• Collaborate with IT teams on ETL design and data load strategies to maintain data integrity.
• Perform data profiling to establish entity relationships across multiple sources and identify data completeness.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage for all existing and new data sources.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and warehousing.
• Expertise in SQL programming and SQL optimization for scalable data systems.
• Proficiency with Erwin or similar data modeling tools.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Experience with AWS services including S3 and Lambda.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as DataStage or Informatica.
• Practical knowledge of data profiling tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and data warehousing principles.

Preferred Skills

• Conceptual knowledge of BI tools like Tableau or Business Objects.
