Description

You will design and implement database blueprints that support enterprise-wide systems and data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate Business Requirements Documents and Agile User Stories into logical and physical dimensional models in Snowflake.
• Profile source system data by writing SQL statements to understand underlying data structures.
• Develop mapping documents to demonstrate clear data lineage.
• Conduct model walkthroughs with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Adhere to established data modeling guidelines, standards, and conventions.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience in information technology programs and enterprise data management.
• 5-10 years of dedicated data architecture experience.
• Expertise in Erwin Data Modeler.
• Thorough knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional design.
• Hands-on SQL experience for data profiling and analysis.
• Prior experience working with Snowflake.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services industry experience, specifically in clearing and settlement.
• TOGAF or other data management and architecture certifications.
• Experience with data profiling, discovery, or data quality tools.
