You will design and maintain data architectures that support organizational decision-making and business objectives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Translate stakeholder business requirements into technical data models.
• Evaluate existing data systems to ensure interoperability and data exchange across platforms.
• Implement normalization, denormalization, and optimization techniques to ensure data integrity.
• Re-model legacy application databases to meet modern requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data modeling, and Database design.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-based data warehouses and models in Azure and Databricks.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio.
• Expertise in modeling for transactional, operational reporting, and analytical solutions (EDW, Data Lake).
• Strong experience writing complex analytical queries using T-SQL and Spark SQL.
• Proven ability to optimize data models, SQL queries, and databases for performance and scalability.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience handling batch, event, and streaming data.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and global delivery models.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Event Hubs, PySpark, Spark Streaming, ADLS Gen2, Azure Blob, and Tableau.
