Description

You will design and implement data structures for large-scale data warehouses, data marts, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Break down and detail data flows from origination to consumption.
• Apply design-oriented modeling approaches to solve real-world problems in reporting and analytics environments.
• Perform research, gap analysis, data mining, and data profiling to support modeling decisions.
• Collaborate and influence stakeholders through technical illustrations and documentation.
• Manage multiple priorities while delivering incremental progress through tangible artifacts.

Required Skills

• 12-14 years of experience in Data Modeling within the software industry.
• Expertise in SQL for designing platforms on cloud architectures.
• Proficiency with ERD and Data Modeling tools such as SAP Power Designer or Erwin.
• Deep understanding of dimensional, relational, and unstructured modeling strategies.
• Experience with database platforms including Oracle, Snowflake, Hadoop, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of OLTP, ODS, MDM, Warehousing, and Data Lake usage.
• Solid understanding of data lineage and data flow mapping.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kimball Data Warehouse design techniques.
• Experience with cloud-native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake.
• Familiarity with the financial industry or brokerage business.
