Description

You will design and maintain data models across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into precise data model designs.
• Define data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers on data structures.
• Perform impact analysis when changes are made to data structures.
• Support data governance and data lineage tracking initiatives.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in data modelling techniques, including ER modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Proficiency in data modelling tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Solid understanding of normalization and denormalization principles.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, such as Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience handling large and complex datasets effectively.
