Description

Design and maintain scalable data models for banking applications including Retail, Corporate, Risk, and Lending.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers to translate needs into technical specifications.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage documentation using version control.
• Ensure data structures comply with banking regulations such as BCBS 239 and GDPR.
• Support data integration, ETL processes, and warehousing initiatives while optimizing for performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling with strong expertise in ER, Star, and Snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency with modeling tools: ERwin Data Modeler, Informatica PowerDesigner, or IBM InfoSphere Data Architect.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL tools like Informatica or Talend.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing data quality and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of data analysis, profiling, and performance optimization techniques.
