Description

Build enterprise-wide canonical data models and scalable cloud architectures on AWS and Snowflake.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise use.
• Architect real-time streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Define semantic models, data contracts, and governance standards.
• Support AI/ML initiatives with robust data foundations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in Data Architecture or Data Modeling.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud data engineering (S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake implementation.
• Proficiency in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and lineage tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for ETL/ELT processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Data Catalog tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC).
• AWS Certifications.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
