Description

You design and maintain logical and physical data models using Data Vault 2.0 architecture to support Property & Casualty Insurance business processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models in Data Vault 2.0 architecture to support incremental P&C Insurance business needs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to document mapping rules for populating data from source systems like Guidewire and legacy platforms.
• Optimize physical database structures on Snowflake for performance and scalability.
• Work with developers to ensure data integration processes align with the defined data models.

Required Skills

• Expertise in data modeling tools, specifically Erwin.
• Strong understanding of Data Vault 2.0 framework and architecture.
• Experience with canonical modeling and relational/dimensional database concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake platform.
• Knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain (Auto, Home, Umbrella LOBs).
• Proven ability to analyze, solve problems, and manage stakeholder communication.
• 10+ years of professional experience in data modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire systems.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center.
