Description

You will design and document data architecture and modeling solutions focused on NoSQL and unstructured JSON data formats.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data marts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and evaluate modeling alternatives.
• Lead model reviews to ensure solutions meet immediate and future requirements while maintaining industry standards.
• Create and maintain critical modeling artifacts, including data dictionaries, modeling analysis documentation, and change request logs.
• Implement data strategies and build data flows across relational, dimensional, and NoSQL platforms.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of data modeling experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, or analytic data platforms.
• Deep expertise in MongoDB and other NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience working with unstructured data and JSON file formats.
• Proven experience with ETL and data ingestion protocols.
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts.
• Proficiency with metadata management and modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio.
• Experience designing reusable REST API models/frameworks to consume or push data to NoSQL platforms.
• Knowledge of database security management and MongoDB architecture.
• Experience with MongoDB administration and installation in AWS and Red Hat environments.
