Description

You will design and implement logical and physical data models to support business requirements, managing the full lifecycle from initial definition to production roll-out on Azure and SQL Server.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build logical and physical data models from scratch.
• Establish physical models on Azure cloud-based databases and SQL Server.
• Interface with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical data models.
• Validate model designs against business needs and technical constraints.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in data modeling.
• Proven experience with at least two full-cycle implementations using cloud-based data stores.
• Deep knowledge of the Azure Fabric "One Lake" construct and its modeling requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud databases.
• Expertise in SQL Server.
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques and architectures.
• Ability to communicate technical designs to non-technical business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure cloud-based databases beyond basic setup.
