Description

You will design and implement data architectures for P&C and RE Insurance domains, owning the full lifecycle from conceptual modeling to physical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for transactional and analytical systems.
• Implement RDBMS, operational data stores (ODS), data marts, and data lakes on SQL and NoSQL platforms.
• Govern data architecture expansion and optimize query performance using industry best practices.
• Translate business requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRD) through stakeholder interviews.
• Prepare project cutover plans and testing documentation, including unit, regression, and UAT test cases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data architecture.
• Expertise in normalization, de-normalization, Data Vault, and Star Schema techniques.
• Proficiency in Kimball and Inmon data warehouse philosophies.
• Strong command of T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with ERwin, ER Studio, or Power Designer.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and integrating JSON structures within relational tables.
• Proficiency in Business Process, Process Flow, and Data Flow modeling.
• Technical proficiency with RDBMS, OLTP, and OLAP environments.
• Experience with XML Schema designs and Accord Model Building.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure Data Platform including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Azure DB, and SQL Azure DW.
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
