Description

You will design and maintain data models to support supply chain planning, buying, and forecasting requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models tailored to organizational information systems.
• Create and maintain logical and physical models to ensure data quality and minimize redundancy.
• Validate data objects using XML and XSD files while applying appropriate design principles.
• Maintain a model repository using ERWin’s Model Mart and generate accurate DDL from physical models.
• Synchronize physical models with instantiated databases and test all DDL before deployment.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in data modeling and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
• In-depth knowledge of XML and XSD for data architecture.
• Experience working with retail POS databases.
• Expertise in Supply Chain RMS - Planning, Buying, and Forecasting data.
• Experience managing model repositories with Model Mart.
• Ability to work with relational databases, NoSQL databases, JSON files, and XML files.

Preferred Skills

• Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into long-term data solutions.
