Description

You will design and develop relational and dimensional data models to support organizational data strategy and business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and publish logical and physical data models for Azure Cloud.
• Co-design data models with DevOps and data warehouse product teams for OLTP, OLAP, and AI workloads.
• Lead and facilitate data model review sessions and collaborate with DBAs to implement physical models.
• Refine the Enterprise Data Model (EDM) and ensure alignment with Data Governance practices.
• Mentor junior data modelers and guide the implementation of best practices for secure data handling.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data warehouse development.
• Expertise in designing both relational and dimensional data models.
• Proficiency with SQL for data modeling and database analysis.
• Hands-on experience working within Azure Cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of OLTP and OLAP architectures.
• Experience working in Agile development teams and participating in agile ceremonies.
• Ability to define and maintain data quality initiatives and data definitions.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements within the financial or banking industry.
