Description

You will design and deploy reporting models and healthcare data enrichments to support business intelligence needs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design high performance reporting models using dbt for Power BI deployment.
• Build and deploy healthcare data enrichments in collaboration with the BI team.
• Maintain documentation for data definitions, transformations, and processes to support governance and security.
• Support monthly and quarterly production activities and maintain the self-service BI warehouse.
• Identify solutions for non-standard requests and work with business owners to implement new reporting models.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing Big Data solutions using Spark and Python.
• High proficiency in Python and SQL.
• 4+ years of experience working with medical and rx claims, eligibility tables, and provider data.
• Experience designing and deploying reporting data models.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or Maven.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Snowflake, Power BI, or dbt experience.
• Background as an actuary or knowledge of healthcare concepts like benefits, pricing, underwriting, stop loss reinsurance, and reserves.
