Description

You will design and implement data structures to support ETL, data warehouse design, and enterprise data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design coherent conceptual, logical, and physical data models including associated physical feed formats.
• Build and maintain data models to report disparate data sets in a consistent manner.
• Create source-to-target mappings for complex ETL transformations.
• Write complex SQL statements to profile source data and validate transformations.
• Develop and implement data warehouse projects independently using transactional and dimensional modeling.
• Normalize and de-normalize data structures, introducing hierarchies and inheritance as required.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing Operational Data Stores (ODS) and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for both OLTP and OLAP.
• Extensive experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or SAP PowerDesigner.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL for data profiling and transformations.
• Strong understanding of ETL and data warehouse processes and best practices.
• Practical knowledge of SQL vs NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work independently to provide structure in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud and Insurance domain.
• Familiarity with SAS VA, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, or Informatica.
