Description

You will design and implement scalable data models on Google Cloud Platform to support enterprise analytics and data warehousing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Implement data modeling best practices using BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Spanner, and Cloud Storage.
• Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within GCP.
• Document data models, metadata, and data dictionaries to ensure integrity and compliance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Expertise in star/snowflake schemas and normalization/denormalization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency in SQL and data profiling tools.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration tools.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and cataloging using GCP Data Catalog.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Data Engineer or Architect certification.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Firestore or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of dbt, Looker, or Tableau.
