Data Modeler

You will develop data models for data assets and implement a cloud-based data management platform.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual data models to identify key business entities, visualize relationships, and define concepts and rules.
• Translate business needs into data models, building logical and physical models for the client hierarchy.
• Document data designs for the team and present modeling results to stakeholders and development teams.
• Enforce governance processes to oversee implementation activities and ensure alignment with the defined architecture.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to maintain models, develop canonical models, and support integrations using SOA knowledge.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Scala for querying and analysis.
• Experience with data technologies including Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Ability to analyze system integration challenges and propose strategic solutions.
• Experience establishing and enforcing data governance processes and naming standards.
• Expertise in maintaining logical and physical data models alongside accurate metadata.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
