Description

You will design and manage data models across Semantic, Core, and Acquisition layers to support enterprise analytics solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to define data elements for Semantic and Core Layer models.
• Create, manage, and modify conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin.
• Develop PDMs for Landing, Staging, and Source Image areas within the Acquisition Layer.
• Reconcile project-specific data models into broader enterprise data models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, with 4-6 years specifically in data modeling.
• Expertise in logical and physical modeling using Inmon and Kimball methodologies.
• Proficiency with Erwin modeling tools.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata database architecture, including Indexes, TD SQLs, PI, and MLPPI.
• Strong skills in data profiling and data mapping.
• Ability to travel for short-term and long-term project assignments.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of industry-specific data processes in Telecom, Banking, Investment Banking, or Insurance.
• Experience with Teradata Communication models (c-LDM) or Financial Services models (FS-LDM).
