Description

Rebuild and migrate data models from Informatica to a modern Snowflake/DBT platform while designing canonical data models that unify operational and transactional sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for scalable, high-quality data pipelines.
• Build and tune ETL/ELT processes to ensure performance, reliability, and data governance.
• Translate data requirements from engineering and business stakeholders into optimized, reusable models.
• Ensure strong documentation and lineage tracking across all data models and transformations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in data modeling and data architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter/IICS), Snowflake, and DBT.
• Proven experience building canonical data models combining multiple source systems.
• Practical knowledge of Medallion architecture concepts (Bronze → Silver → Gold).
• Excellent proficiency in SQL for data transformation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Domain expertise in waste management or environmental services (operational, billing, fleet, recycling, disposal, compliance).
• Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
