Description

Design and implement logical and physical data models for large-scale computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical entity-relationship (ER) models for multi-terabyte environments.
• Manage design standardization and metadata management through established data governance practices.
• Deploy data models into operational environments using Agile SDLC and change management procedures.
• Lead modeling initiatives and coordinate technical requirements across organizational lines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in logical and physical data modeling (ER).
• 7+ years of proficiency with Erwin Data Modeling or comparable tools.
• 7+ years of experience with large-scale DBMS such as Aurora Postgres, Oracle, or Snowflake.
• 7+ years of experience writing SQL and PL/SQL.
• 10+ years of experience developing and deploying to operational environments.
• 10+ years of experience working in multi-terabyte computing environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile SDLC and change management procedures.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead role.
• Expertise in Design Standardization and Metadata Management.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to present technical information to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills for complex, integrated user systems.
