Description

You will design and implement database blueprints to support enterprise systems and data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and user stories into logical and physical dimensional models in Snowflake.
• Profile source system data using SQL to understand underlying data structures and ensure data quality.
• Develop mapping documents to demonstrate data lineage and enforce modeling standards.
• Conduct model walkthroughs with stakeholders to align on content and data interrelationships.
• Manage data model evolution, including schema refactoring and column deprecation.

Required Skills

• 7-15 years of experience in information technology programs and enterprise data management.
• 5-10 years of dedicated data architecture experience.
• Expertise in Snowflake design and deployment.
• Thorough knowledge of Erwin Data Modeler.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, Kimball methodology, and dimensional design.
• Extensive hands-on SQL and PL/SQL experience.
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
• Strong data profiling and analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within distributed data architecture teams.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and associated tooling.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
