Design and implement complex data models to drive business intelligence and analytical insights.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex Azure Analysis Services (AAS) Tabular models handling large data volumes and advanced business logic.
• Create efficient views in Azure Databricks using SQL and Scala to support modeling requirements.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize AAS and Power BI model performance.
• Analyze data patterns to extract actionable insights and ensure model solutions address broader business implications.
• Manage code and task workflows using GIT and JIRA.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in data modeling and business intelligence.
• Advanced proficiency in Azure Analysis Services (AAS) Tabular modeling.
• Expertise in Power BI and AAS modeling, specifically M Query and DAX development.
• Strong capability in writing SQL and Scala within Azure Databricks.
• Deep knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization for AAS and Power BI.
• Proficiency with GIT for version control.
• Experience using JIRA for project tracking.
