You will translate complex Mainframe DB2 schemas into decoupled, domain-driven models optimized for AWS and Databricks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate coupled Mainframe DB2 schemas into decoupled, domain-driven models for AWS and Databricks.
• Analyze shared DB2 schemas to understand table locking, modification patterns, and batch dependencies.
• Design target state conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the Unified Databricks & MongoDB Lakehouse.
• Design Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & 2) for the Persistent Layer.
• Ensure data models support real-time APIs, microservices, and operational reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in dimensional modeling and cloud data warehouse structures.
• Deep expertise in DB2 and Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in Databricks, MongoDB, and Amazon Redshift.
• Strong knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AI Augmentation or Vibe Coding.
• Experience with microservices architecture and real-time APIs.
• Cloud-native migration experience.
