You will design and implement scalable data models for Databricks environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, efficient data models for Databricks-based environments.
- Translate business requirements into robust data models by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize data models for performance and scalability within Databricks.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all models, supporting validation workflows with Python.
- Incorporate specific risk-related data structures (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk) into data models.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Data Modeler.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Databricks and modeling for Databricks environments.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional, relational, and conceptual modeling.
- Proficiency in Python for data validation and workflow support.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog or similar Databricks components.
- Working knowledge of Financial Risk or regulatory risk data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
