You will design and implement scalable data models for Databricks environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, efficient data models for Databricks-based environments.
• Translate business requirements into robust data models by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability within Databricks.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all models, supporting validation workflows with Python.
• Incorporate specific risk-related data structures (e.g., Credit Risk, Market Risk) into data models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Data Modeler.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Databricks and modeling for Databricks environments.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional, relational, and conceptual modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data validation and workflow support.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog or similar Databricks components.
• Working knowledge of Financial Risk or regulatory risk data.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
