Description

You will design and implement data models for OLTP and OLAP systems within GCP environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling.
• Implement indexing, partitioning, and data sharding strategies.
• Optimize database performance for near-real time reporting and application interaction.
• Manage data architectures within GCP environments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with OLTP and OLAP systems.
• Proficiency with GCP databases including BigQuery, CloudSQL, and AlloyDB.
• Deep understanding of indexing and partitioning techniques.
• Experience using data modelling tools, specifically DBSchema.
• Practical knowledge of data sharding.
• Ability to manage variables impacting database performance.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Functional knowledge of the mutual fund industry.
