Description

You will own the design, maintenance, and optimization of data models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable data models.
• Optimize data structures and schemas using Star/Snowflake design and Normalization/Denormalization techniques.
• Write, tune, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation rules.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including ERDs and data dictionaries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and SQL development.
• Expert proficiency in advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions).
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (ER modeling, dimensional modeling, 3NF).
• Experience with relational DBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Advanced experience with one or more cloud data warehousing solutions.
