Data Operation Engineer

Key Skills: Python, UNIX, SQL, DevOps

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support daily pipeline operations, monitoring, and timely response to production incidents.
• Triage issues using real-time alerts, support research-driven workflows, and lead post-mortems.
• Improve reliability and operability of pipeline components, including data structure, quality, and availability.
• Create and maintain runbooks for common operational scenarios and incident response.
• Coordinate with external vendors on behalf of internal clients to resolve data and pipeline issues.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in data operations, data engineering operations, or production support.
• Python for operational scripting and troubleshooting.
• Sql for querying and validating data in production workflows.
• Unix platform experience for command-line troubleshooting and operational tooling.
• Ability to monitor pipelines, investigate root causes, and support incident resolution in production.

Good to have:

• Devops experience to strengthen operational practices and deployment/operations workflows.

Education: B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA (Computer Application / Computer Science / Computer Science and Technology / Computer Technology)
